Palais des congrès secures 12 major events expected to generate spinoffs of nearly $85 million for Montréal

For the previous quarter ending June 30, 2010, the Société du Palais des congrès de Montréal has confirmed it has secured eight new international(1) conventions and four national(2)conventions. These major events represent economic spinoffs for Montréal estimated at nearly $85M. Secured primarily with the cooperation of the Société’s long-standing partner Tourisme Montréal, the conventions will result in more than 57,519 room nights being booked in hotels across the city.

Claude Guay appointed to the Board of Directors of the Société du Palais des congrès de Montréal

Thumbs up for a good cause: Palais des congrès de Montréal and Tourisme Montréal join hands to aid community groups

Over 80 employees from the Palais des congrès de Montréal and Tourisme Montréal took part in the third Journée Coup de Pouce, a day dedicated to lending a hand to Montréal organizations. This was an opportunity for participants to share in the experience of doing community work together and also raise their awareness of issues related to the environment, women in difficulty, family and childhood.
