Ferri Hassani A professor with McGill University's Department of Mining and Materials Engineering, Ferri Hassani is the current holder of the Webster Chair in Mining Engineering. He is a graduate in Mining Engineering from Nottingham University (BSc and PhD). His teaching and research relate principally to mine design, rock mechanics, renewable energy from mines, geo-sensing and mine backfill.
