Dr Michèle Marcotte
Adjunct professor at McGill University and with the faculty of veterinary medicine at Université de Montréal in Saint-Hyacinthe, Dr Marcotte headed the national food quality and safety program from 2006 to 2008. In April 2009, she became science director for the Food and Health branch of the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada research centre in Ottawa. She has been the science director for the AAFC's Food and Health Research Strategy since 2008.
