Dr Peter A. Vamos Dr Vamos is the executive director of the Drug Dependencies Program at Portage, an international organization treating addictions in centres across Canada, Europe and Asia. As president of the International Council on Alcohol and Addictions, his daily challenges also include finding tangible solutions to drug addiction problems and changing society's attitude toward this disease.
