Chrystine Loriaux, Adm.A., B.A.A.
Director Marketing and Communications
Chrystine Loriaux joined the Palais in June 2007 as Director of Marketing and Communications during the implementation of the Palais’ 2006-2009 strategic plan that called for the complete restructuring of this department. Ms. Loriaux is responsible for developing the marketing strategy for all markets and for ensuring the promotion and branding of the Palais as well as the broad strokes of the marketing plan. She is also in charge of public affairs and internal and external communications.

Ms. Loriaux has enjoyed a distinguished career, primarily at two major institutions: the Bank of Montréal from 1991 to 1998 and from 1998 to 2007, SITQ, an international real estate development and management corporation which is a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. For the SITQ, she served as Chief Communications Advisor and subsequently as Director of Marketing to assist the organization in meeting various challenges. In this capacity, she ensured the upgrade and creation of various institutional Web sites and the marketing of properties including Place Ville Marie, 1000 de la Gauchetière and 1981 McGill College. She also created an innovative virtual sales presentation of available real estate space at various SITQ prestigious properties, for which she received the provincial and national BOMA Pinnacle Awards in 2005. She is Leadership and Emerging Real Estate Leader certified, and has completed the Professional Development for Convention Centre Managers Program offered by the Brussels-based AIPC International Association of Congress Centres.

A graduate of the Université du Québec à Hull with a BA in Business Administration, Ms. Loriaux has continued her professional development over the years at the Institute of Canadian Bankers (marketing, finance and accounting, human resources management) and more recently at Harvard where she received the Emerging Real Estate Leader certification.

Active in the community, she sits on the surplus committee set up by the Blainville mayor’s cabinet. She is also very involved with organizations that work with youth. From 1998 to 2005, she was a member of the organizing committee for La Classique de golf SITQ, a tournament benefiting sick children. Ms. Loriaux has been chairing the board of directors of the L'Académie Lafontaine private elementary and high school since 2005, and served as vice-president of the Montreal Real Estate Foundation for Kids.
