Director of Building Management
Mr. Poirier has ensured the efficient operations and continuous improvement of the building’s facilities since 2002, and brings to the position a particular energy and enthusiasm that guides a large team dedicated to building maintenance, security and planning.

His arrival to the Palais set in motion a veritable shift in environmental awareness and practices, which has resulted in a considerable reduction in the building’s energy consumption, recognition by BOMA Québec in 2005 with the Go Green certification and the establishment of new practices in daily operations. Mr. Poirier is currently a member of the board of BOMA Québec and Chairman of its Standards and Regulations Committee. In that capacity, he participated in the Kansas City task force on air quality for the ASHRAE 62-1989R standard and assisted in organizing several seminars.
